Overview

The Alcatel ASM 110 Turbo is a portable helium leak detector built for reliable testing in laboratories, production lines, and field maintenance. Powered by an integrated turbomolecular pump, this unit offers fast evacuation speeds and high accuracy for detecting micro-leaks in gas pipelines, pressure vessels, and high-vacuum components.

Its compact frame makes it easy to move across different job sites without sacrificing detection sensitivity. Flexible by design, it allows technicians to perform testing using both the vacuum spray method and the sniffer method.

Key Highlights

• High Sensitivity: Detects minute leaks down to 10⁻¹¹ mbar l/s.

• Turbo Pump System: Integrated turbomolecular pump delivers quick response and fast recovery times.

• Compact & Rugged: Durable enclosure ideal for benchtop setups or mobile field servicing.

• Dual Testing Methods: Supports both vacuum spray testing and external sniffer probe testing.

• Easy Operation: Clear analog and digital displays ensure straightforward reading and minimal setup time.

Testing Modes & Applications

1. Vacuum Mode (Spray Method): Used for checking vacuum chambers or sealed parts. Helium gas is sprayed outside the suspected area and pulled into the detector.

2. Sniffer Mode (Sniffer Method): Used when the test component is pressurized with helium. An optional sniffer probe sweeps the outer surface to locate escaping gas.
